[IRCA] TP's for Sunday, September 08, 2013

Listened from 1310-1342 utc. Long wave band poor, but Radio Rossii on 171 managed to show up for a rare appearance. Lower channels of the MW wave band the Sky wire loop out performed the NW ewe. High channels the NW ewe worked best. Usually the sky wire  loop does not pick up many TP signals unless it's a strong signal.

171    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1311 poor with man in Russian. Active whip. 09/08/2013

279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1314 poor signal with man in Russian. Active whip. 09/08/2013

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1320 fair signal with man/woman in Japaneses. Sky wire loop.  09/08/2013

603    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Seoul, HLSA 1322 assuming the station with weak signal and music. Sky wire loop. 09/08/2013

657    DPR OF KOREA, Pyongyang, 1334 weak signal with woman in Korean. Moderate splatter. Sky wire loop. 09/08/2013


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1324 good signal. Woman in English. English Radio Conversation show. Sky wire loop.09/08/2013


1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1329 fair signal with organ music. NW ewe. 09/08/2013

1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1328 fair signal with man in Asian language. NW ewe. 09/08/2013
