Unlike Dennis, I didn't find this a particularly productive
morning....didn't work that hard at it either, which may have been a
mistake, as there was some evidence of an erratic DU opening later.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB peaked up nicely with end of wx broadcast and JOUB ID at
1320UT, but faded down to another station shortly afterwards (3LO?)
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
765 unID pop mx 1327UT, better on west rather than north Flag, so
perhaps NZ? Still audio traces at 1339UT
828 JOBB man in JJ 1244UT //774 which was weaker
1566 HLAZ two women in JJ at 1320UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB man in JJ 1253UT //774
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 woman talking perhaps DU EE, 1325UT
612 man talking, DU EE inflection, quite a good carrier 1315UT,
usually 4QR deliver reasonable audio with even a laid back carrier..
1539 unID man talking 1329, sort of a DU EE sounding monotone; only
in briefly though.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
594 756 891 909 963 972 1008 1098 1053 1287 1323 1503 1548 1611
best wishes,
Nick
