Gary pegged it nicely this morning, lackluster. Mostly just the big
guns, anything further was hard work.
.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB 1230UT EE lessons: "it's Friday"
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
279 R. Rossii, jazz piano //189 1219UT
828 JOBB EE lessons 1232UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1219UT
1053 KK jammer 1240UT
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1319UT, best signal on the band just then
1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1318UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
189 R. Rossii, RR talk by man 1241 //279
747 JOIB wx broadcast in JJ briefly rising above the splash 1303UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 JOIK man then woman in apparent JJ as was //594 1322-1325UT
594 JOAK as above, //567
1017 CRI, really reaching here, but did catch the final notes of the
CRI fanfare, and cadence of "renmin guangbo dientai"
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
864 891 963 1035 1242 1251 1503 1575
best wishes,
Nick
