As Gary mentioned, it was a better morning for Asiatics than
yesterday, though the nearest to unusual DX was some CC sounding
audio traces on 1143, and RR on 963.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ at its best 1327UT w/man in JJ, but some choral mx earlier
had been pretty good also
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
153 R. Rossii man in RR 1241UT //189
738 Tahiti man in FF 1213UT
774 JOUB EE lessons 1320UT, right after JOUB ID by man.
828 JOBB man w/wx reports 1316UT, faded down somewhat by 1320UT but
still recognizable JOBB ID by woman, then back to EE lessons
972 HLCA woman in KK 1302UT, only the pips audible on the hour though
1053 KK jammer 1159 and 1317UT
1575 VoA man and woman in SE Asian language 1325UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
189 R. Rossii 6 pips at 1300UT, laid back vocal mx beforehand
963 CRI likely, woman in RR 1308UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ getting rather overwrought
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK? man and woman JJ inflection 1304UT
747 JOIB EE lessons by the sound of it 1247UT
1143 woman talking CC inflection; first reception of Taiwan this
season? 1316UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
873 891 936 981 1008 1044 1134 1314 1323
best wishes,
Nick
