Well I start researching as we all do and end up trying to find out the best radio, haha, you probably know how it is. I did just buy an IC-2010 from ebay for a BIN of 249.99, looks like a nice one, we will see when I get back to the states. So thanks everyone the search has ended.
As far as customs go I bring an expensive bass guitar in and out of the country often and as long as it's for personal use they don't charge me anything.
