According to the propagation monitor and the DXFishbarrel, this was a
pretty good morning (wonder who was on 1296, 1314 or
1476?). Unfortunately, the SDR recording failed just as things
started to get interesting after 1230UT.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti. Heavy guitar rock 1222UT followed by woman in FF
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
819 R. NZ National laid back vocal mx //567 1132UT, then into old
time blues, female vocal
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 R. NZ National, old time blues vocal //819 1132UT
603 NZ? ponderous rock mx 1141UT
702 man talking DU EE inflection 1149UT
756 vocal pop mx creeping through
774 woman talking DU EE inflection 1140UT
1008 woman and man talking 1139UT
1116 man talking DU EE inflection 1159UT, but down on the hour
1566 woman talking 1156UT, oriental inflection?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
828 837 891 1287 SAH 1323 1548 1611 1629 (latter two a cacophony of carriers)
best wishes,
Nick
