[IRCA] TP 11 Aug; Victoria version

Mostly an Asian morning today (well, Korean and Russian), with DU signs only after about 1245UT. Lots of static like yesterday, and plenty of splatter as well

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

279 R. Rossii man in RR 1130, mention of R. Rossii 1132UT
1566 HLAZ choir mx and man in JJ at 1236UT; heard earlier in CC, but not as strong, though the changeover to the Japanese service pattern didn't deliver much signal today.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

180 R. Rossii woman in RR at 1209UT
972 HLCA briefly at this level, man and woman in KK 1211UT
1053 KK jammer at its "best" 1234UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

153 R. Rossii woman talking slightly offset from 279 at 1133UT
189 R. Rossii man talking //279
702 odd one here, sounded like man in DU EE in the splatter, at 1205UT when everything else was from east Asia
1323 laid back vocals 1251UT, DU by this time?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

738 828 891 1287 1503 1539 1548 1611

best wishes,

Nick
