Re: [IRCA] Rockwork 4 DXpedition-- UnID's and Mysteries (Part 1)

Hi John,

Thanks very much for listening to this MP3, and for identifying the song as Christian music. That was the final piece of the puzzle to confirm that this recording was from the New Zealand's Rhema network (a couple of 5 kW and 2 kW) transmitters on this frequency), which typically plays Christian contemporary music.

This was one of the strongest UnID recordings made during the Rockwork 4 ocean cliff DXing trip, so I'm very happy to have nailed down the identity. Thanks for your help!

Hi Gary,

594 UnID-DU (1318z 7-21-13) The format of this strong station seems to
match that of the Kiwi network NZ Rhema, but there is
                                              only mumbled speech at the
beginning of the MP3. Can anyone confirm the song as Christian music?
That would be pretty strong evidence of the station's identity.

This is Christian Music, I have heard the song on K-Love, but don't recall
the song title.
The announcer at the beginning of the clip sounds like he is saying
"Listener Supported Station ...." then into the song.

Kind Regards,

Hello All,

DXing on an ocean side cliff at a Highway 101 turn off in Oregon is
pretty wild, but probably not as wild as trying to sort out all the South
Pacific DX station mysteries that enhanced cliff propagation throws at you.
Suggestions or information on the following UnID mysteries would be greatly
appreciated-- either from Down Under or local experts!

Thanks for any and all assistance. This is only the first installment of
these (unfortunately), with quite a few more to be sorted out.
