279 definitely went south today, Dennis, hardly even a carrier here 
at 1200UT, though there had been earlier.

The only audio heard here at 1200UT (or any other time) was 4QD-1548, 
ID'd by traces of the ABC news fanfare heard, followed by woman 
presumably with the news peaking 1202UT, but could never say more 
than it sounded vaguely DU EE.  Good carrier though, just too much 
splash as usual, and by 1220UT, no real signs of audio.

Other than that 756 1017 and 1332 showed carriers, but not enthusiastically.
