[IRCA] TP 12 May; Victoria version

Quite an odd morning, nothing strong, but an interesting variety.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

not today

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

nope

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

1503 possible R. Sport, but web stream had message that program only available in NZ. Anyway, man in DU EE 1222UT 1701 possible R. Brisvaani. man talking weakly 1221UT, sounded DU EE, but a brief snatch of Middle Eastern style singing, then fading up to vibraharp mx followed by tabla and Indian sounding singing by men , lasting till after 1230UT, battling the local noise.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

279 R. Rossii. pips at 1200UT
1323 CRI usual stringed mx leading up to normal chimes and fanfare at 1200UT which were concealed by splash and noise. Amazing that this is still making an appearance.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

972 1098 1332 1566 1602 1611

best wishes,

Nick
