Listened from 1320-1410 utc. The Russian long waves were received best on the High Performance Active Whip this morning. The NE ewe only received noise on long wave. The HPAW antenna was also the best antenna on some of the MW stations this morning. Believed I heard two Philippines station this morning. First on 1215 kHz produced a man talking and he mentioned Filipino. Second station on 1458 kHz with man in Filipino? I have heard the 1458 kHz station twice now this month. I recorded the assumed Philippines stations. A fast paced morning here.

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1323 good signal with end of Stevie Wonder song followed by woman in Russian. HPAW 03/25/2013


279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1324 good signal with Pop song  by woman. HPAW  03/25/2013

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1328 good signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe.  03/25/2013


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1330 fair to good signal with woman in Japanese. Best on the HPAW antenna. 03/25/2013


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1332 good signal with slight splatter with woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 03/25/2013


972    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Dangjin, HLCA  KBS 1336 good signal with folk type song in Korean. NW ewe.  03/25/2013


1053   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1338 jammer with fair signal. NW ewe. 03/25/2013


1215   PHILIPPINES, DYRF 1340-1348 believed to be station with music and man talking. He said Filipino while talking. Woman talk followed man.  Fair signal at times. NW ewe. 03/25/2013

1323   CHINA, Huadian, 1340 assuming the VOR transmission with weak audio slight splatter. NW ewe. 03/25/2013


1458   PHILIPPINES, 1352 assuming the station with fair signal with man talking in Filipino? W-SW ewe. 03/25/2013

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1354 good signal with woman singing in Chinese. NW ewe.  03/25/2013


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1355 fair signal with man in Asian language. HPAW. 03/25/2013
