Ya win some, lose some. I am of the opinion we shouldn't be paying for air time or DX tests. But I admire you for trying, and for your generosity. Interesting to see the response you got.
BTW, I got WLYN new a few weeks ago. I heard two men speaking Portuguese and managed a parallel on the station's web stream.

Subject: [NRC-AM] WLYN 1360 & WAZN 1470
I approached an WLYN 1360 & WAZN 1470 about a conducting a "DX Test" for us DX'ers. They are a brokered/paid programming station so I was going to be happy if I got 60 seconds of morse code at at the top of the hour at 2am in the morning on this Metro Boston, MA area rimshot
The GM said no, so I did something I've never ever ever done before... I offered to buy, out of my own pocket,  15 minutes of time on a one time only deal at 1 or 2 in the morning....
The station still said no.. and wasn't terribly pleasant about it.
