I didn't think any winter storm that hit New England could possibly top the Blizzard of March 13-14, 1993 in terms of severity. This sounds like it just might.

I sure hope everyone stays safe there in the NE. I am watching the 10 PM
WBZ News, via satellite, and Wow! One area in SW CT got 12 inches of
snow in 90 minutes. That reminds me of what I saw in Alaska in the
1950s. But 170,000 people have lost power.
