[IRCA] TP's for Monday, January 28, 2013

Listened from 1453-1545 utc. Anemic TP signals on the entire MW band. At 1519 utc Japanese low powered stations appeared on the following channels 1314-1332-1386-1467 kHz. Japanese powerhouse stations were weak at best during this period. Russia on 648 popped up with a weak signal at 1538. Interesting morning. Have a nice week. 

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1453 very weak signal with music.  W-SW ewe.  01/28/2013


648    RUSSIA, Ussuriysk RFA 1538  weak signal with Korean service with slight splatter. NW ewe. 01/28/2013


774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1505 very weak signal with woman in Japanese. Moderate domestic splatter. W-SW ewe.  01/28/2013


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1507 very weak signal with moderate splatter and  woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe.  01/28/2013


1314  JAPAN, Osaka, JOUF Radio Osaka Obc 1527-1529 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW -ewe. 01/28/2012

1332  JAPAN, Nagoya, JOSF Tokai Hoso 1522-1524 fair signal with man in Japanese. Over another station playing music. W-SW ewe. 01/28/2013

1386   JAPAN, Morioka, JOQC NHK2 1519 assuming the Northern Japanese station with fair signal at times. Music and  woman in Japanese. 


1422   JAPAN, Yokohama, JORF RF, RF Radio Nippon 1511 weak signal with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe.  01/28/2013


1467  JAPAN, NHK2 JO?? 1533 one of the low power Japanese stations // 774. NW ewe. 01/28/2013

1566  REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1508 weak signal with man in Chinese. W-SW ewe.  Fair at 1339 with Chinese. 01/28/2013


1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1540-1542  very weak signal with music. NW ewe.  01/28/2013
