DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-

Solar activity is low as far as the emergence of the number of new sunspot 
groups. Currently there are 4 numbered and 4 new un-numbered sunspot groups.

Solar activity is very low (0 solar flares) as far as the number of new 
solar flares and their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 
hour period was a very small B9.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has languished below 100 or higher for 12 
consecutive days, currently at 60.

The geomagnetic field had been quiet for 1 day with the Kp (planetary) index 
in the 0-2 range. The following are the 24 hour 3 hour Kp (planetary) 
intervals 22121121.

The Dst ranged between -39 and -17.
