Definitely not TP for 24 January. Bottom feeding best describes it,
whenever I checked (1430UT, 1510UT, and after 1530UT.)
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
also none
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB man in JJ 1443UT, never got better than this, but came up
again for 1540UT s/off
972 HLCA female vocal mx 1541 UT
1566 HLAZ woman in CC 1555UT, best signal of the morning (not saying
very much)
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
594 JOAK woman and man talking, JJ inflection 1445UT
747 JOIB man in JJ //774 1528UT
756 likely CNR1 woman talking followed by man talking; same change
occurring on 6125; 1446UT
828 JOBB man talking //774 1444UT
945 man talking 1542UT, maybe //6125? too murky to tell
1287 JOHR? woman talking 1444UT; light mx at 1554UT
1575 man talking 1556UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
891
best wishes,
Nick
