[IRCA] TP 21 Jan; Victoria version

Walt already evaluated the morning. Here are the details. It was still generally quite Japanese and lower band, with a great many weak audios, but they WERE audio...many of which I hadn't heard for quite awhile. I probably could have heard more, as they were popping up and down, but breakfast was needed, and the demands of the day, but the 1430 to 1530UT period was quite productive, fading after that for the most part. Some of those listed below may have been stronger at times, but I was too busy chasing the little stuff.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK man talking JJ 1511UT
774 JOUB woman in JJ 1506UT
828 JOBB man in JJ 1445UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

873 JOGB woman in JJ 1506UT //774
972 HLCA man in KK 1441UT
1566 HLAZ woman in CC 1441UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK man in JJ //594 1511UT
603 HLSA soft mx //558 1513UT, someone talking in there also
747 JOIB man in JJ //828 1445UT
837 JOQK woman in JJ //594 1514UT
1179 JOOR? man and woman in JJ 1452UT, good carrier
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1455UT, along with twangy guitar mx.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

279 R. Rossii? woman talking 1459UT
558 HLQH instrumental mx and man talking 1448UT //603
612 JOLK woman talking //594 1450UT
639 CNR1 man in CC //6125 at 1454UT; also: JOIP woman talking //594 at same time
666 JOBK woman talking //594 1451 UT
702 NHK2 synchros; woman in JJ //774 1506UT; hum in background from N. Korea?
846 NHK1 synchros; man in JJ //594 1517UT
891 JOHK woman in JJ //594 1456UT
936 Anhui? woman talking, CC inflection, strong carrier 1511UT
945 NHK1 synchros; woman talking //594 1450UT
954 man talking 1459UT JOKR?
1143 unID female vocal mx w/oriental flavor, 1543UT, then man talking (similar sounding programming at 1545UT on 738, but getting them together was impossible) 1188 HLKX woman talking 1504UT same cadence as webstream; female vocal as webstream at 1550UT
1269 JOHW/JOFM man talking //1287 1509UT
1332 woman talking JJ inflection at 1456UT JOSF?
1503 JOUK man in JJ //594 1516UT
1575 VoA? woman talking 1449UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

756 909 1242 1278 1305

best wishes,

Nick
