Conditions down from yesterday morning, but up from last year on this date.. (listed bottom of page) Domestic splatter was up this morning on most channels. Tahiti on 738 kHz managed the best signal of the MW stations with a fair signal. Listen from 1434-1516 utc. Have a Great week. 

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1434 fair  signal with instrumental music.  HPAW. 12/03/2012

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1  1505-1504 poor signal with man in Japanese briefly.  W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012


693    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAB NHK2 1439 poor signal with bits of audio. Moderate splatter. W-SW ewe. 12/03/012

738    TAHITI, Papeete, Radio Polynesie 1448  weak signal with male announcer. 1505 fair signal briefly with man in French. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012

747    JAPAN, Sapporo, JOIB, NHK2 1450-1452 very weak signal with woman in Japanese and heavy KXTG. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012

774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1350 very weak signal with woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1457 very weak  signal with moderate splatter with woman in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012


1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1444 poor signal with woman in Chinese. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012

1575   THAILAND, Ban Phachi, VOA 1447 very weak signal woman in Asian language. Weak signal at 1515. W-SW ewe. 12/03/2012

1575    THAILAND? 1510-1522 sat on channel listening to a weak signal at best with non VOA type programming.  Talk in Asian language with woman and man.
