Listened from 0930 to 1038 utc. Surprised to hear two Chinese stations. Hope that conditions continue until sunrise? Last years to date receptions on bottom of page.

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 0938 very weak signal with woman/man in Russian. HPAW. 12/02/2012

529    ALASKA, Level Island, KQA 59 0929 very weak with weather forecast for Sitka. NW ewe. 12/02/2012

279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 0941 weak signal with woman in Russian. HPAW 12/02/2012

394    ALASKA, Kodiak 0943-0944 fair signal with weather
forecast.HPAW 12/02/2012

738    TAHITI, Papeete, Radio Polynesie 1032 weak signal briefly with man in French. Moderate KCBS splatter. W-SW ewe. 12/02/2012

774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 0951 weak signal with men in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 12/02/2012

  CHINA Shaowu,0954-0954 assuming the station with weak signal in Chinese. China broadcasts to Taiwan at
this time. Station 600 kw directional.  Faded around 0955 and still gone at 1002 utc. Back again at 1003 with woman/ man talking. Last heard here in October at 1020 utc. W-SW ewe. 12/02/2012

774     JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1430 fair signal with English/Japanese conversation. + Good signal at 1501.
828     JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1432 weak signal with above program. + Good signal at 1459.
