[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Wednesday, November 28, 2012

High Channels dominated this morning  with a surprised reception of Taiwan on 1557 made possible with a open carrier from KKOV 1550.  JOUB 774 was the only MW Asian with audio this morning.. Tahiti was the only DU heard this morning. Conditions were like Bill's in Arizona.  No comparisons to last years to date receptions.  Thought conditions might be better with a K index of 0.  

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1255-1258  fair  signal with Roy Orbison song "Anything You Want". HPAW. 11/27/2012


189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1329 very weak signal with man in Russian. HPAW. 11/27/2012


209    ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 1340 very weak  signal with weather forecast. HPAW. 11/27/2012


279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1258 good signal with Radio Rossii ID, 5+1 pips 1300.. HPAW 11/27/2012

738    TAHITI, Papeete, Radio Polynesie 1303 fair signal with woman in French. NW- ewe. 11/27/2012

774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1510-1515  very weak with man in Japanese. W-SW ewe. 11/27/2012


1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK2 11307-1308 poor signal with man announcer.  W-SW ewe. 11/27/2012

1557   TAIWAN, Kouhu, CBS-RTI-VoTaiwan, Family Radio 1525-1534 assuming the station with weak signal and music. KKOV 1550  had open carrier so no splatter. W-SW ewe. 11/27/2012

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1320-1328  poor signal off and on  with male speaker.  W-SW ewe. 11/27/2012


1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1453-1456  fair signal at times with man in Chinese & // 6030. W-SW ewe. 11/27/2012.
