1566 seemed to be doing pretty well this morning, everything else was
pretty much in the weeds. Mostly high band, but a couple of signs of
life lower down also. Not a big sunrise enhancement.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
1566 HLAZ heard w/man in CC at 1413UT, and continued to peak at this
level a number of times until well after 1500UT
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
none
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
none
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
594 woman interviewing man, sounded like he was on the telephone; JJ
cadence, 1516UT, only briefly audible
702 six pips across 1500UT, sounded like ABC ones, maybe a trace of
fanfare afterwards? If so, 2BL.
891 woman talking 1514UT, more a DU EE cadence?
1422 this often had a good carrier, close to audio, but 1510UT was
the only time I heard audio; man talking, couldn't guess at language
in the splatter.
1503 unID. Woman talking 1515UT, didn't seem //594.
1557 woman singing 1518UT. WYFR is supposed to be off now.
1593 CNR1 woman talking //6125
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
774SAH, 1548
best wishes,
Nick
