I'm sorry that no Asiatic TP signals showed up this morning to reward you for getting up so early (or maybe so late?). This 0900-1015 UTC (red-eye) DXing idea originally came from Niok on Prince Edward Island, who reported vibrant long-range TP signals during those awkward hours.   

Your DXing location seems to be the polar opposite of mine for propagation purposes-- with excellent TA's and DU's, but challenged for Asiatic TP's. The DXers in Victoria (Walt, Nick and Colin) have also experienced this weird effect to some degree. I guess the key to hobby satisfaction during these lean solar years is to simply be thankful for whatever Transoceanic DX still comes in.

      Given the spike in solar activity that killed the TAs last night I 
wasn't expecting much from TPs this am, and my expectations were met. 
Zero audio from any TP.  Plenty of carriers, but all of the DU variety. 
  Only 891 reached audio, at around 1400, though 612 was very close.
