[IRCA] Oklahoma TP DX 10/28/12
TP DX this morning was much the same as yesterday.
The best signal was from the ROK jamming station on 1053 at 1240-1254 GMT. It
was mixing with audio from an unidentified station. I assume it was the North
Korean transmitter at Haeju. Both faded out at 1254 (local sunrise was at 1249).
Audio was also heard from 747-JOIB at 1120-1207 GMT and 774-JOUB at 1235-1253.
Traces of signals were observed on 567 (JOIK?), 594 (JOAK?), 828 (JOBB), 972
(HLCA), 1287 (JOHR?), and 1503 (JOUK?).
Receiver: PL-606 with 7-inch FSL antenna. I find the 606 is as capable as the
PL-310 but better fits the definition of an URL. It also mates well with the
FSL.
Good DX all.

near Perry OK USA.
