The enhancement such as it was this morning was for a few Asiatics in
the upper band, but it seemed to include Family Radio 1557 and CNR on
1593 which are definitely second tier here. Nothing had much
strength however, and what little was on the low band seemed DU, and
before 1400UT.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
none
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
1557 WYFR slow talking man at 1413, couldn't tell language, but after
organ mx at 1420UT, caught the EE words (mostly in the recording
after the fact): "this has been.....Bible reading.....God's word";
not much, but better than anything else this morning
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
(both 774 and 828 had talk around 1355UT, but nothing to hang my hat on)
891 DU EE sounding woman at 1318UT
1503 JOUK NHK pips at 1400UT
1566 HLAZ man talking, JJ inflection 1321UT; after 1400UT there were
a number of times when a CC sounding man was barely audible
1575 man talking, too much splash to get anything, at 1408UT
1593 CNR1 insistent sounding woman talking 1411UT, at the same time,
similar sounding woman talking on 6125. A man on 1593 coincided
with a man on 6125; too much of an offset to say they were parallel though.
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
594 1512
best wishes,
Nick
