Another DU morning, and generally poorish at that. Mostly Aussie.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
612 4QR countryish vocal mx by woman 1411UT; up and down after that,
but up again at 1429 w/two women in an interview, and mentions of country mx
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
none except for 4QR passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
none except for 4QR passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
567 4JK country mx //612 1417UT
576 man talking at 1418UT, DU EE cadence?
819 few slow musical notes, //567 1408UT, not sure who, as 567 was
4JK later, but RNZ National is more likely on these two
channels. Checking the recording didn't help, as the Aussie
parallels were all dead at the time. The offsets list didn't help,
as none are listed. 4JK seemed to be 567.0030 later, but at 1408UT,
567.0030 was only marginally stronger than something on 567.0000kHz
702 2NR female vocal 1415UT, seemed //612
747 male vocal 1420UT, not really sure if //612, and if //774, severely offset
774 3LO likely. country mx program 1413, but delayed by a number of
seconds from 612
792 orchestral mx 1410UT 4RN? no parallel available
891 light vocal mx 1407UT, no parallel available
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
756
best wishes,
Nick
