[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-11

Hello All,

Yesterday's modest Asiatic TP recovery was long gone this morning as the latest solar disturbance took full effect. Around 1345 some teasing carriers with an NZ pattern showed up again on 603 (weak), 657 (moderate), 1008 (weak) and 1035 (moderate)-- although there never is much hope of any audio from Australia or New Zealand in this notorious DU-dead zone. Asiatic TP's sounded comatose at first but around 1405 the Japanese big gun 594-JOAK finally managed threshold audio, as did 1575-VOA in and out throughout the session (which apparently escaped the worst of the aurora because of its southerly location). The only bright spot of the morning was another appearance from aurora-enhanced 738-Tahiti, which was back with fair French audio at 1355 (which was best received on 737 kHz, away from another aurora-enhanced signal, 740-KCBS :-) Hopefully Tim, Kaz, Richard and other inland DXers had a chance to go after the 738-Tahiti audio this morning. Audio from Tahiti used to be pretty!
rare here during previous seasons, but with the constant solar tantrums it is becoming almost a regular visitor.
