[IRCA] TP for 11 Oct 2012 from Victoria: a struggle

A real struggle today to hear any decent audio.  The real winner seemed to
be 567 with Radio National, Wellington with English news a few minutes
after 14:00.  Deep fades to oblivion, followed some half decent audibility.
 That seemed to be the pattern with many other stations, most which
appeared to be from DU.  For instance, at 14:07 as I type this, 567 is
quite strong.  This made using Nick's DX Fishbarrel of less than normal
value, since by the time it updated, the signal often had dived again!
 Same story for 612.  Nothing there a minute ago, and now strong from
Brisbane, at 14:09.  774 is DU.  940 is very strong Hawaiian.  1098 carrier
is pretty decent.  1116, very strong earlier in season is covered here by
splatter.  Upper half of the band struggled.  Just a hint of audio on 1566
at 14:13.  SF today 112, A 10, K 2.  The sun seems to be struggling to
return to normal!  73,....Walt
