Hello All,
Auroral conditions were in full effect here as Asiatic TP's were almost completely wiped out, but rare audio on 738-Tahiti showed up just after 1400. Some very anemic carriers from the Japanese and Korean big guns (and 1575-VOA) were all that got through from Asia this morning, but the session was saved from a total washout by Radio Polynesie's fair-strength fade in just after an unusually persistent 740-KCBS faded out around 1400. Tahiti audio only shows up here during strong auroras in this DU-dead zone, and when it does break through, it is usually an indicator that DXers farther east (hopefully in Oklahoma, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota) have a shot at it if such auroral conditions continue.
