[IRCA] TP Sept 16, 2012 / Victoria version

After my griping about reception or lack of it on 603 yesterday, 
Gary's mystery station showed up in spades this morning fading up at 
1322 over suspected HLSA (which was ID'd by parallel with 558 
somewhat later) w/woman in CC to pretty much complete readability by 
1324, fading down to return by 1328  .  603 is practically an ideal 
frequency here with no real interference from 600 by sunrise, no 
local electrical noise (I could hear light static crashes), so one 
can really listen to the dynamics of the channel.  By 1330 I could 
hear a jammer on the channel as well, might have actually started at 1330.

Checked 3900 for the PAL/WRTH suggested parallel with no luck, but in 
listening to my recording, I noticed there was a "guangbo dientai" in 
there at 1327UT, but my ability to follow the cadence of CC is pretty 
limited, so I'll place it 
here:

for anyone else to take a crack at it.  I have an SDR recording of 
it, but this is just a quick and dirty version recorded using AM and 
including the 3kHz het from 600.  I'm sure I can winkle out better 
with more effort.

Anyway...here's the rest of the story, and it wasn't that astonishing 
actually, lots of splatter again this morning, and erratic signals, 
almost all low band.  I missed Walt's reported Hawaiians, but they do 
seem to be there on the recordings, not dominant on the channel here, 
and 864 had noise, so no luck there.  No KNUI at 1400UT here either; 
I think Walt's house near the water makes a difference, hi.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):


594 JOAK man in JJ at 1325UT.
603 unID for now.  woman talking CC interspersed w/piano mx 1324 o/HLSA
774 JOUB man w/wx in JJ 1308UT

reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):


747 JOIB man w/wx broadcast at 1303
972 HLCA slow vocal mx 1326

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

558 HLQH vocal mx, then man talking //603; first time this season
567 JOIK man talking //594 at 1328UT
603 HLSA vocal mx, then man talking //558; first time this season
612 4QR DU EE by man at 1353UT
1053 KK jammer peaking at 1308UT
1575 VoA likely man and woman in  unID Asiatic language


Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

603 mystery jammer at 1330UT
639 woman singing 1256, but no parallels and gone by top of hour
945  traces of orchestral mx seemed to be //6125, if so, CNR-1

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

189 648 738 756 (maybe a woman talking u/local electrical noise)  819 
(may have been traces of NK style talk in big 820 splash) 864
