>From using the distance tool on Google Maps (which shows the path), it looks like 1071 would be a TA from there on the east coast, and a TP from here on the west coast. (My reception of it would be a miracle, though, due to near-local-like KNX-1070 owning that spot on the dial 24/7 from 111 miles away across a partial saltwater path. Wouldn't be the first "miracle" I've had, though - a couple years ago I heard 594-JOAK next to my local 5kW IBOC-spewing 600-KOGO about 8 miles away.)
What about more inland, like near Navojoa, SO or Douglas, AZ, which are about 180° different in longitude? Would it be a TA or a TP from there?

Hello To All,
After hearing reports that India had been heard recently in Europe on 1071 khz I have been monitoring that frequency regularly for an sign of it.
Tonight I was rewarded with the following catch
1071 - INDIA - All India Radio , Rajkot 00:45 - 00:51 UTC Sep 9 in Urdu language .... news items about Pakistan, Science & Technology , then into a vocal song "All India Radio " ID and ID heard again at 00:59 when signal had diminished more.
Receivers:
Yaesu FRG-100 w/ 320' wire as well as audible on a Sony SRF-M37V Ultralight barefoot
India has definitely been on my wish list for a while now
Good DX to all,
Allen Willie
