[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Wednesday, September 05, 2012

Got of to a late start this morning.  Listened from 1308-1345 utc. It was the best DU morning for me in the Pacific Northwest excluding Grayland. Russian long waves were gone and 5 medium wave Asian stations were heard. 5 Aussie stations heard with 4RN 792 with the best signal of the five and  heard for about 8 minutes . I wasted time trying to match up the live streams from my desktop.  Hope the other guys in the Northwest were able to listen this morning. 

594     JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1311 weak with man in Japanese. NW ewe.

693     JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1325 good signal English Conversation Radio. "Did you like your English teacher?"

702     AUSTRALIA, 2BL 1319 weak to fair signal with man talking about the Gold Coast. 702 Sydney mentioned by woman. Best signal ever here. 

738     AUSTRALIA, 2RN 1335-1336 fair signal at times with talk. No sign of Radio Polynesie. Signal faded at 1337 until 1340, back with fair signal and ABC ID's with frequency's given. Very slight splatter during this period. Faded out at 1343. SW ewe.

774    JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1255-1258 very weak signal with woman in Japanese and moderate splatter. 1312 Good signal.

774     AUSTRALIA, 3LO 1312 under JOUB with man speaking in English. Estimated fair signal with JOUB with good signal. SW ewe.

792     AUSTRALIA, 4RN 1300-1307 fair at times with ABC news, weather 1305. Play with Man telling story after news. SW ewe. 1314 fair signal with play.

828     JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1309 fair signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe.

891     AUSTRALIA, 5AN 1316 weak signal on top of channel with woman in English. 4TAB might have been station underneath 5AN. 5 AN still a top channel at 1329. 

1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1327 good signal with man in Japanese.
