TP's early on the dials and DU's just before sunrise. Static crashes on the long wave band this morning. China CNR1 1593 in again this morning. 1300 had 3LO battling briefly with JOUB on 774. 

153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1224-1228 good signal with music followed by man in Russian. Static crashes.

180     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1229 weak signal with woman singing in English. 1238 good signal with woman singing.

189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1230 good signal with music. Still good with singing at 1251.

209     ALASKA, Yakataga CYT 1252-1253 fair signal with Alaska weather forecast.

234     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1232 very poor signal with woman singing. 1239 signal still very poor.

279     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1231 fair signal with music. 1240 very weak signal. 

594     JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1257-1258 steady weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe.

657     UNKNOWN, 1321 poor audio briefly at 1320. Best on SW ewe. It not sound to be in Korean. Southern Star New Zealand? 

693     JAPAN, JOAB NHK1 1259 weak signal with music. 1300 2 pips and other pips wiped out by splatter followed by man in Japanese.

738     TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1241 weak signal with woman in French. Moderate splatter. Good at 1324 with woman in French.

738     AUSTRALIA, 2NR 1324 believed to be the station under Radio Polynesie with man in English. Led Zeppelin "Stairway to Heaven" heard at 1325. Signal weak to fair. 1329-1332 man in English. Best on SW ewe. 

747     JAPAN, JOIK NHK2 1244 weak signal with woman in Japanese. Heavy domestic splatter.

774     JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1233 very weak signal with woman in Japanese. 1305 fair signal with man in Japanese.

774     AUSTRALIA, 3LO 1300 woman reading news in English over JOUB for about 20 seconds. 1305 heard under JOUB.

891     AUSTRALIA, 5AN? 1334 weak signal with woman in English. Assuming 5AN as not horse racing programming heard.

1053    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1309 jammer on top of channel with weak signal and moderate splatter. 

1134    REPUBLIC OF KOREA,? HLKC? 1312-1317 language not Japanese, might have been Korean? Fair signal at times with fast talking woman speaker. Faded out 1317. Best on NW ewe, also heard on SW ewe.

1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1236 weak signal with organ music followed by man in Japanese. Fair at 1246 with religious choir singing.

1575    THAILAND, VOA 1237 very weak signal with woman in Asian language. Fair signal at 1247 with man singing. 

1593    CHINA, CNR1 1248 weak signal with music matching // 6030.
