pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
none
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti briefly at 0959 w/FF talk by woman; pretty fair at 1242UT w/vocal mx
1566 HLAZ briefly at 1243UT w/woman in JJ and organ mx
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
the above fading up and down
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
774 faint talk 1236UT, somewhat laid back made me think DU, but NHK
pips weakly at 1300UT
972 HLCA? weak female talk at 1226
1116 4BC? six long pips on hour 1200UT, all the same pitch; don't
know if was this one, but DU inflected talk heard between 1212 and 1216UT
1206 off channel carrier, but just hints of talk by man fading at
1254. First time this season for this one, likely China, judging by
carrier offset.
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
567 612 1053 1575
best wishes,
Nick
