[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Tuesday, August 21, 2012

Except for the Russian long-waves there was a drop in conditions this morning. 5 Russian long-waves heard with varying signal strengths from good to weak. MW TP's had anemic signals and DU's signals were down too.  Tahiti was in this morning on 738 on the Sky wire loop only. 1701 DU was trying to produce some audio, but could not make it.  Listened from 1240-1330 utc. 

153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1240 good signal with rock music.

180     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1241 weak signal with rock music.

189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1242 fair signal with rock music.

234     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1243 fair signal with rock music.

279     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1244 fair signal with rock music.

594     JAPAN, JOAK NHK1 1305 very weak signal with bits of audio going through.

738     TAHITI, Radio Polynesie 1301 weak signal with woman in French.  Sky wire loop. Fair with music 1317.

774     JAPAN, JOAK NHK2 1311 weak signal with man in Japanese. 

828     JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1308-1309 poor to weak signal with man in Japanese.

1116    AUSTRALIA? 1314 very weak station on SW ewe. Man talking briefly.  

1566    REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1246 fair signal with woman in Japanese.

1575    THAILAND, VOA 1255 assuming VOA with poor signal and man talking in ?
