[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Sunday, August 5, 2012

Up early this morning.  Good morning here, long-wave produced 5 stations with audio.  Lower channels on medium wave were gone.  Nice VOA ID's at 1230 utc.  1548 4QD with ABC news at 1300 utc.  Unknown Australian station
on 1584.  Signals arriving in different paths, some DU signal heard on the NW ewe, with some TP signals 
better on the SW ewe.  Seems early in the season for this good conditions.  

153      RUSSIA,  Radio Rossii 1103-1110 fair signal with some static with man in Russian and Radio Rossii ID 
                  at 1109.  Music at 1110.
180      RUSSIA,  Radio Rossii 1111 weak signal with music.  Fair at 1151.
189      RUSSIA,  Radio Rossii 1152 fair signal with man in Russian.
209      ALASKA,  Yakataga 1113-1116 weak with weather forecast.
279      RUSSIA,  Radio Rossii 1117 steady weak signal with less static than the other long-waves above.  Man 
                  in Russian. 
738               Level 3 het 1219 DU
1053     KOREA'S  1204 jammer on top of channel with weak signal. 
1422              Level 5 het 1219 TP 
1458              Level 5 het 1218 TP
1476              Level 4 het 1217 TP
1503              Level 5 het 1205 TP NW ewe 
1548     AUSTRALIA, 4QD 1256 man in English reading news.  Mentions of Australia.  DU voice.  Fair at times, 
                  but KKOV 1550 with splatter.  1300 ABC news with woman speaker. Best on SW ewe.  
1566     REPUBLIC OF KOREA,  HLAZ 1200 fair signal with Chinese.  Best on NW ewe. Good signal at 1242.
1575     THAILAND,VOA 1230-1231 "VOA News" in English.  Heard two more times in next minute.  Good signal. VOA                     ID at 1236.  Pals gives Lao language.  Heard on SW+NW ewes and High Performance Active whip.
1584     AUSTRALIA, 1245 man in English talking, weak signal.  Audio did not match ABC national stream.  
                   Best signal on NW ewe.

1674              level 5 het 1255 DU
