[IRCA] TP's & DU's for Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Long-waves up and DU reception down this morning.  Three Russian long-waves heard.  Tahiti with
a fair signal and 1566 with weak unknown station with music and woman in unknown language on 
SW ewe. Three scans of the 9 kHz channels, not as many hets this morning.  I listed the top 
two. Signals gave out at sunrise.

153    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1202 steady weak signal. Woman in Russian.  Fair signal at 1204.
180    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1153 fair signal with Radio Rossii ID by man at 1254..  Signal 
               weaken as TOH approached.  Caught some of the pips and woman talking at 1200.  
               Back to fair at 1202. Static crashes in background.
279    RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1205 good signal with woman in Russian.  
738    TAHITI, RF 1207 fair signal with woman/man in French.  Usual heavy splatter from KCBS.
               Splatter lowered at 1221 with fair signal with man in French.
1008   LEVEL 5 het 1209 DU
1548   Level 5 het 1217 DU
1566   UNKNOWN 1212-1214 poor signal with ? language  Best on SW ewe. Poor signal at 1228. 
               Weak signal at 1234 with woman in ? followed by music.
