I ran the Perseus during March 10-12, when conditions were very auroral. It's
taken me three weeks to work through the Perseus files. The night of March
10-11, with most skywave signals washed out, signals from the south snuck
under the auroral blanket. Lots from Mexico, but also some good stuff from
AL, GA, MS, KY and TN. A strong aurora also enhances ground wave signals
that are normally obliterated by skywave in non-auroral conditions. So I
had excellent signals from regional stations in NY, PA and ON. The next
night, MAR 11-12 mostly favored Venezuela and Cuba and a few southern
domestics.
