You're quite correct concerning more Asiatic conditions Steve, though 
here there was little low band activity, and there was a bit of 
signal strength peak around 1355 UT (and of course down by 1400UT), 
though nothing delivered much in the way of quality audio at any 
time.  The nearest to readable signal was JOUK-1503 with talk just 
before 1400UT, seemed //594 which was weaker, but with similar 
inflection to 1503.

594 poor at best at 1352UT; JOAK per //1503.  This was the only JJ 
big gun to deliver any audio
1242 possible traces of talk at 1352UT (we're reaching here, believe me)
1296 male talk, poor  at 1355, more like Tagalog inflection??
1323 male talk, poor 1354, also seemed more like Tagalog 
inflection.   No CRI chimes or fanfare across the hour, so unlikely 
to be CRI, though this was pretty weak by then.
1422 audio traces around 1349UT, likely Japan
1566  never readable, but audio bits at 1159UT, 1323 and 1358UT
1575 audio traces at various times, nothing readable
1593  woman talking then slow vocal mx at 1356UT, again, barely there 
w/splatter, and faded down with no pips across hour.  However, it 
seemed that there was similar mx poking up on 1602 before the hour, 
so possibly these were both NHK2. (extreme minimalist DXing...)
