Re: [IRCA] Solar Storm

...and it is already interesting with a lot of Spanish tx especially on the bottom half of the band. Earlier tonight, PTR WKAQ 580 was even booming over CFRA. Right now, TWR Bonaire with the program "A través de la Bíblia" is mixing up at good level with hockey play-by-play on my local CHRC! Just amazing!

Expected arrival time is 0625 UTC -- less than 6 hours from now.

Last night was interesting -- fair amount of scatter on 6 meters (50Mhz)
but with my 10W and vertical antenna - no hope for QSO

Could get really interesting on the medium wave dial.

Strap yourself in folks.

If radio reception tonight happens to sound like it did today(No Skip),
then that might be due to another solar storm that will arrive in less
than 24 hours. I can\t check this out after LSS so if someone out there
notices any abnormal conditions then let us in on it and I can check my
inbox after 11 PM and scan the band then to see what's happenng. Thanks,
Bill in BC
