Conditions improved this morning from previous mornings this week.
Nothing from Radio Rossii on 279, usually the strongest Russian long-
wave here.

153     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1442 good signal with two men in Russian.
189     RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1443 good signal.
594     JAPAN, JOUB NHK1 1444 good signal with some splatter with man in Japanese.
603     REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLSA 1450 weak signal with music.
639     CHINA, CRNI 1445 weak signal with man in Chinese.
657     DPR OF KOREA, 1455 weak signal with music, none of the //'s heard this morning.
666     JAPAN, JOBK NHK1 1457 weak signal with a lot of splatter.
693     JAPAN, JOAB NHK2 1446 good signal with some splatter with woman in Japanese.
774     JAPAN, JOUB NHK2 1447 good signal with some splatter with woman in Japanese.
828     JAPAN, JOBB NHK2 1448 fair signal with woman in Japanese.
1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HLAZ 1512 in late with weak signal.
