Hi Everyone,
As off 0330 this morning, the wind died off. One minute it was gusting
at 80 MPH, the next it was 5-10 MPH. They can end that way, like someone
turned off the wind machine. The last half hour was rough. The whole
front of the house was creaking from the force. Those gusts must have
been 90+ easily. Anyway, after it stopped and shower ended, I put on my
coast, cap and took a flashlight to check for damage. As far as I can
tell, everything looked normal. I will beable to see better in the
daytime, but my antennas, dishes and all looked fine. Branches all over
the yard. The gutters looked fine, the roof, as far as I could tell, all
normal. After two 90+ MPH wind storms back to back for hour after hour,
I am a bit surprised everything came through. We do have strong storms
as you know, but this was unusual with two back to back wind/rain storms
with such power.
I pulled on the beverage wire and it felt fine. I will check on that
when the weathr improves. the EWEs all are fine. I did not lose any more
trees either. I am very thankful it looks like everything came through
fine.

Patrick
