[IRCA] The University of Georgia Loses Its Voice

While I'm not surprised (having known Larry had been in poor health for a while), I'm still extremely saddened.  Munson was an unabashed homer, and he and the late Bob Ufer (University of Michigan football, 1945-1981) were two guys who let you know just how passionate they were about their teams.  Larry was always enjoyable to listen to, and I'm glad that WSB had the good sense to play back day games in their entirety after Midnight on Saturday nights back in the day.  We are truly losing the greats in collegiate sports broadcasting -- Oklahoma's Bob Barry just a few weeks ago and now Larry.  Hope the new generation of pbp people can appreciate (and learn from) the ones that came before them in the industry.
