Conditions were down this morning, compared to the last two here in
Victoria, despite good solar indices. For today, SF 144, A 1, K (12:00) 0.
No space weather. I'll add the last two days as well below. As always a
"6" unless otherwise noted. Listened from 14:37 (and still trying at 15:07
this morning):
529 (SQM) at 6
594
774: 7 NHK2
828, 1557
1566: HLAZ at 7.5
1575: 6. I've noticed this one to have a wide peak for the last few days,
so zoomed in with my Perseus. A real hodge podge of signals on 1574.921,
.941, .994, .998, .999, and 1575.003. Nick could probably elaborate more
with his superior set-up to measure the various carriers.
1593: 7 level CNR1
18 Nov 2011 14:42 to 15:12. SF 148, A 4, K (12:00) 0. No space
weather. An acceptable Asian morning with a modest dawn enhancement.
Findings identical to Nick's DX Fishbarrel.
594: 7 level NHK1 at 15:11
612
693: 7 level with ++ splatter from CBC 690. NHK2
747
774: 7 level NHK2
828: 8 level NHK2
972: 7 level KK
1503, 1512, 1557
1566: 8 level HLAZ at 15:11
1575: 7 level
1584, 1593.
17 Nov 2011 14:43 to 15:15 SF 142, A 4, K (12:00) 1 No space weather.
Not as good as the 18th. Nothing on the higher band, but perhaps a bit
better on the lower bands.
567
594: 8 level NHK1 at 15:06
603, 612 (late)
747: 8 level NHK2 at 15:08
774: 8 level NHK2 at 14:47
819, 828
972: 7 level KK at 15:09
That's it from a frosty Victoria. No obvious dawn enhancement today
with 774 and 1566 only weakly there at 15:17 UTC this morning (the 19th).
73, Walt
