I remember some of the more pessimistic among us predicting this around 1999.  

Nobody around here under 30 knows it exists anyway - AM or FM.

A close friend of mine who was the production director for KFAB-1110 was one of 
 people that Clear Channel canned here.  So this means...what?...that Clear 
hannel is trending towards having ALL of its stations carry nationally 
yndicated programming 24/7?  No local programming (and therefore, no DJs to 
ay) to be allowed whatsoever?
