As others observed, one of the best mornings of the season,
certainly for Japan. It was the low end of the band that shone this
morning, with a decent carrier on pretty much every channel, and a fair
number with audio.
This morning's audio:
531 - traces of audio, Japan presumed
567 - JOIK, Japan, reaching audio at 1335
576 - unID, very weak audio at 1336
585 - JOPG, Japan, //594 at 1336
594- JOAK. Japan, easily overcoming IBOC noise
639 - JOIP, Japan, //594 khz, weak audio at 1332, a first for the season
693 -JOAB, Japan
702 -NHK2 Japan, //747 khz. Second carrier noted about 50 Hz high.
N.Korea?
729 -JOCK, Japan, weak audio at 1340, //594
747 - JOIB, Japan
774 - JOUB, Japan
819- N.Korea, orchestral music and man speaking at 1331.
828 - JOBB, Japan
873 - JOGB, Japan, first time heard this season
972 - S.Korea, not doing especially well considering how others were doing
1017 - China, CRI in Korean at 1332, first time heard this season
1134 - a minute or so of audio at 1334. Not Japanese. Maybe Korea?
1566 - S.Korea - the lone standout on the upper band
73,
Nigel Pimblett
