Not a bad morning, and virtually everything I heard this morning was from
down under. Little if any Asian propagation this morning. I listened
between 13:08 and 14:10 UTC. SF 127, A 19, K (12:00) 2. Minor solar
disturbances for the last 24 hours, and none expected for the next 24 hours.
What was noted was a very nice dawn enhancement of DU signals. The lower
half of the band was particularly well heard. As always, "6" unless
otherwise noted:
LW: nada
567
576: DU at 14:06
594
603: 7 level English at 13:20
612: 6 level at 13:47 with lots of 610 splatter
675, 702, 738, 747
756: 7 level EZL music at 13:29
765: 7 level
774: 8 level DU at 13:48
792: 8 level DU at 13:27. Strongest of all the TPs this morning.
801, 819
837: 7 level with music at 13:57 and what sounded like a white noise
jammer.
891, 918
940: Great reception of the Hawaiian. One of my favourite stations with
all Hawaiian, all the time format. Well heard at 14:03
1008
1116: 8 level DU at 13:40
1251, 1278, 1296, 1332
1512: 7 level DU at 13:46
1548: 7 level at 13:50. A strong signal, but +++ splatter from 1550 with
EZL music. Presumed 4QD
1557, 1566, 1575: all at 6 level at 14:09
That's it for this morning. Should be back at the dials tomorrow morning.
73s,...Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC
