Russ, my experience is that they do frequent "Avenue 1550" and/or "Timeless
Cool" ID's, plus frequent PSA's for Lake Geneva organizations. They don't
do well here at night, even at the short distance of 59 miles, because of
their directional pattern (probably developed at least in part to protect
the older WHIT). Their pattern is directed northeast/southwest, probably
accounting for how well Rick Dau hears them in South Omaha. It may handicap
your ability to hear them in Philadelphia.
1550 is a real jungle here at night, and I don't think that is going to
change with the demise of CBE-- maybe it will even intensify.

Thanks - Sounds as if "Whiter Shade of Pale" wouldn't have been them. Joni
Mitchell maybe. Some said the latter was CBE. The two SS stations and CT
were all stronger than the rest, so I don't expect to get much aside from
matching up music.
