Patrick,
What a surprise to read your DX report this morning. Your antennas and receiver
sure pull in some great catches. This morning was one of the better mornings of this
season.
Best regards,
Dennis,

Subject: [IRCA] Good TP Morning at the Coast
Greetings,
Between my work schedule and everything else, I have been unable to get
to the dials early enough to really test out the R8 since I got it back
repaired last Summer for TPs. Well, this morning I finally did. I
started at 1320 UTC and the R8 works as good as it ever did, if not
better. The dial was pretty decent here. Nothing new logged, but a lot
of my old friends were back including Vietnam-675, Thailand-891 (S9 at
times), and even DZEC-1062, the old Filipino that poped out of the
jumble to say hi, with a nice ID at 1403.
531 JAPAN, Morioka JOQG barely on top of jumble with man in JJ at 1337
9/23. (PM-OR)
531 UNID Australian(s) presume the pop music underneath JOQG at
1337 9/23 (PM-OR)
540 CHINA, good and dominating 540 for a time 1345 9/23, with man in

there. No ID possible. (PM-OR)
