Here is a code challenge on 990khz.
While listening to KRMO 990 on 9/16 I noted five occurances of "code"
at top of hour and the half hour. I hesitate to use the word "Morse
Code" beause the code character is not a known alpha/numeric or
punctuation mark or other character that I am aware of. The code
heard is .._.. (dit dit dah dit dit) sent at very high speed. You
need to slow it down to hear the individual dits and the dah.
Does anyone know the source or the purpose? At the same time the code
was heard CKGM was strong, CBW was there but nulled, KRMO was in/out
and WGSO was also heard. The character heard is not the same as the
familiar Cuban RR.
I can send anyone interested in hearing this a short audio clip.
