[IRCA] TP for 8 Sep from Victoria, BC

Yes, I know, better late than never, and my recording for 9 Sept 
suffered from a broken antenna lead in, so no report for that date.




pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

1566 HLAZ w/ woman in JJ at 1319UT and for awhile afterward

reasonable audio  at  times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB //774 at 1300UT
1287 JOHR quite readable to a JJ speaker at 1200 UT and a number of 
other times before 1330.


not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or 
noise could be
understood by a native speaker

828 JOBB pips on the hour and talk
972 likely HLCA at 1201
1053 the Korean jammer at 1317 and following
1134 HLKC   slowly spoken call letters by man followed by 3 and 1 pips, 1200UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

1143 slightly martial sounding mx at 1324
1152  likely JOPC given conditions, musical interlude //747  at 1324
1269  HBC synchros //1287 w/ woman talking at 1320; very pleasant 
surprise, plus there was some unID male talk just before this faded up
1575 VoA? male talk in the noise



Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

various but 1476 might have had audio traces also...
